Overview
Les Fermes de Marie sits within a two-hectare park in the centre of Megève, assembled as a cluster of alpine-style chalets rather than a single block. Rooms range from the 16-square-metre Classic room to suites of 90 square metres, finished in wood, stone and woven fabrics in warm tones. Beyond the hotel rooms, a separate collection of private chalets, from the 70-square-metre Rochebrune Chalet to the 400-square-metre Chalet des Fermes de Marie, sit within or close to the grounds, each with access to the hotel's restaurants, spa and children's club.
The spa, La Ferme de Beauté, traces its origins to 1989, among the first mountain spas built in the Alps. It has 13 treatment rooms, an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym, and works with Pure Altitude, the house skincare line made from alpine plants. Treatments include the Secret du Skieur sports massage, the Lift 4810 facial and the Blanc Comme Neige body treatment on a flotation bed, alongside longer care programmes such as Pure Glow and Slim & Detox.
Eating options run from Le Restaurant des Fermes, serving market-driven mountain cuisine in the main chalet, to Le Carnotzet for cheese specialities, Le Beef Lodge steakhouse and Le Vieux Megève in the village centre for Savoyard dishes. Families are met by the Kid's Club des Fermes and the Hameau des Enfants, with a dedicated children's table at mealtimes. Pets are allowed under certain conditions, and covered parking is available on site.
