Londolozi Private Granite Suites
Three suites raised above the Sand River at Londolozi, each with its own heated pool and outdoor bath, built around an outcrop of granite rock in the Sabi Sand reserve.
Overview
The Private Granite Suites stand on a stretch of the Sand River where an extrusion of granite rock breaks through the bush. The decor follows the same material, built around silver, charcoal and elephant grey tones that give the suites a contemporary, pared back feel rather than the more traditional safari lodge look found elsewhere at Londolozi. Large doors and windows in each suite open directly onto the river, and a sunset river bar with a sunken cocktail lounge sits high above the water, in a spot where breeding herds of elephant are known to pass along the old river ways.
There are three suites in total. Each has a private, heated swimming pool and an outdoor bath positioned to look over the river. The suites can be booked individually or taken together as a private camp for up to six guests, which suits a honeymoon or a small group marking an occasion. Children under 16 are not accommodated unless the full camp has been booked for exclusive use.
The Granite Suites sit within Londolozi's wider reserve in the Sabi Sand, adjoining Kruger National Park, and carry the same Relais & Châteaux status held by two of the property's other camps. Guests have access to the shared Londolozi facilities between drives, including daily yoga classes, the Londolozi Gym and the Village Walk, with treatments at the Healing House, the Londolozi Living Boutique and the Photographic Studio available on request.
