RISONARE Tomamu stands in Naka-Tomamu, Shimukappu, Hokkaido, about 90 minutes from New Chitose Airport by car or train. A free shuttle bus connects the hotel to JR Tomamu Station, and Tomamu IC is ten minutes away by road. The hotel holds 200 rooms, all suites, with four rooms to a floor in its tower. Each suite spans 100 to 120 square metres and includes a private sauna and a panoramic jet bath, with a master bedroom bed measuring 120 by 200 centimetres and a sub bedroom bed of 195 by 97 centimetres. Suites sleep two to six guests.

On site are 11 restaurants and three cafés or lounges. The Buffet Dining Hall serves a dinner built around crab and salmon, while Forest Restaurant Nininupuri, set in open woodland, bakes pizza in a wood kiln using cheese from Farm Hoshino and serves soft serve ice cream made with Tomamu milk. OTTO SETTE TOMAMU, on the 31st floor of the South Building, pairs seasonal Hokkaido ingredients with Italian technique under the theme Bella Combinazione. Wagyu & Seafood Shabu-shabu Dining SORA serves Japanese black beef and Hokkaido seafood with a flying fish broth, and Patisserie Jeunesse Tomamu, run by a pâtissier trained in France, makes parfaits and Western-style sweets from Hokkaido ingredients.

Guests have direct ski-in/ski-out access to the Tomamu Ski Area, with private backcountry tours also offered. Other on-site experiences include UNKAI Terrace, for viewing the sea of clouds; the Chapel on the Water; the Ice Village, which appears only in winter; Mina-Mina Beach, an indoor beach with a wave pool; a snow sledding park; and horseback riding in the farm area. The hotel also has a spa, a playroom, a pool, a public bath and a meeting room, and allows pets in a dedicated pet dog suite type.
