Hotel · San Cassiano, Italy
A renovated historic hotel in San Cassiano, in Italy's Dolomites, with 51 rooms and suites designed by Jean-Michel Gathy and direct access to Dolomiti Superski's pistes.
Overview
San Cassiano's historic hotel reopened as Aman Rosa Alpina following an extensive renovation, set within Italy's UNESCO-protected Dolomites. The property's 51 rooms and suites, designed by Jean-Michel Gathy, face either the village or the surrounding forest, with views of the Dolomites peaks throughout.
Dining spans four venues. Breakfast is served in the Heritage Room overlooking the forest, The Grill offers family-style Italian cooking on its terrace, Enju serves Japanese Shabu Shabu, and Il Salotto operates as the lounge bar for cocktails. The Aman Spa includes seven treatment rooms and three swimming pools, with treatments drawing on the mountain's restorative properties.
From June to October, the resort serves as a base for hiking and biking through the surrounding landscape. In winter, San Cassiano connects to Dolomiti Superski, giving guests access to more than 1,200 kilometres of pistes. The hotel is a two-and-a-half hour drive from Venice, one-and-a-half hours from Bolzano and two hours from Innsbruck. Helicopter transfers are also available on request from Venice, Bolzano, Innsbruck and Milan.
