Overview

Lebombo Lodge rests on a ridge above the N'wanetsi river, inside Kruger National Park's Singita concession. Glass walls, earthy tones and natural textures blur the line between inside and outside, so the wilderness feels less like a view and more like a surrounding. Birds and monkeys move through the canopy above, and antelope graze close to the walkways, unconcerned by guests passing through.

The lodge's communal spaces are built around light and fire. At the Long Bar, the day's changing light frames quiet moments; in the Winter Lounge, a fire draws guests in after dusk. The Wine Studio runs tastings and pairings built around South African cultivars, tracing each wine back to the landscape it came from. Two long pools, set on wide wooden decks with canvas loungers and umbrellas, look out over the river, where elephant herds are often seen coming down to drink. By night the pool deck is lit by lanterns for dinner under the sky.

The Conservation Lounge and Gallery of Treasures were developed with local artists, conservationists and community members, bringing together handcrafted work and objects found in the surrounding landscape. Guests can take guided safari walks, join game drives, go stargazing or bird watching, and visit the Singita Community Culinary School. A refurbishment was announced for April 2026, intended to deepen the connection between the lodge and the land it sits on. Singita Kruger National Park, where Lebombo is one of two lodges, was named No. 40 in The World's 50 Best Hotels in 2025.
