Overview

The Oberoi, Lombok sits on Medana Beach, on the northwest coast of Lombok, within 97,124 square metres of tropical gardens. The resort has a private jetty with direct access to its home reef, an on-site PADI dive centre, and an infinity pool that runs 33.5 metres towards the ocean. The Gili Islands lie a short boat ride away, known for coral reefs, colourful marine life and giant sea turtles; nearby Gili Trawangan has three named dive sites including Shark Point and Malik Point. Lombok Airport is 66 kilometres away, a drive of around 1 hour 45 minutes.

Accommodation is split between pavilions and villas, all with traditional thatched roofs, king size beds and sunken marble bathtubs. The Luxury Pavilion rooms measure 90 square metres and look over the ocean, the infinity pool or the garden. Villas add a private pool 8 metres long, a dining pavilion and a private courtyard with a lily pond; the largest, the Luxury Ocean View Two Bedroom Villa, totals 375 square metres across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to four guests.

Dining runs across four venues: Sunbird Cafe for all-day Indonesian, Indian and Western food with ocean and garden views; Lumbung Restaurant, an open-sided thatched structure with 360-degree garden views and themed dining nights; The Amphitheatre, where a weekly dinner is paired with Sasak music and dance; and Tokek Bar, an open-air spot for cocktails, wine and Lombok coffee. The Oberoi Spa offers Balinese, Western and Oberoi signature treatments in open-air, thatched treatment rooms set within walled gardens, alongside a fitness centre and a tennis court. The resort's beach, garden and villa settings also host weddings for up to 50 guests, with a more private villa ceremony for up to five.
