Our notes
Paris has a handful of palace hotels and a great many good ones, and the choice depends on what you are there for. Shopping and the grand museums put you in the 1st and 8th. Restaurants, galleries and a Sunday morning market suggest Saint-Germain or the Marais. We can secure tables at restaurants that are otherwise booked out, private after hours access to a museum or two, and a driver who knows that the Périphérique at six in the evening is to be avoided at any cost. Rooms with a view of the Eiffel Tower are real but limited; tell us early if it matters.
