The coast between Bodrum and Antalya is where Istanbul goes in August, and the reason is obvious from the water. Bodrum's peninsula has the resorts, Göcek and Fethiye have the marinas, and between them the Lycian coast has coves reachable only by boat. A week on a crewed gulet, sleeping on deck and swimming before breakfast, remains one of the best value luxury trips in the Mediterranean. We arrange the boat, the crew, the provisioning, and a hotel at either end.
