Free-standing pavilions with private pools sit among olive groves and pine forest on Bodrum's north coast, beside a private pebble beach on the Aegean.
Amanruya sits on the serene north coast of the Bodrum Peninsula, where the turquoise Aegean laps a private pebble beach and ancient pine forests scent the air. The resort is built village-style amid olive groves and cypress trees, its free-standing guest pavilions spaced for privacy, each opening onto its own garden with a private swimming pool. Pavilions are furnished with four-poster beds and fireplaces, and come with spacious terraces facing either the sea or the garden. Amanruya opened in 2011.
Dining at Amanruya runs across several venues built around seasonal produce, with ingredients sourced directly from local farmers and fishermen in Bodrum. The Spa is described as an intimate sanctuary, its treatments drawing on traditional Turkish wellness practices. A short walk from the pavilions, the Beach Club sits behind a headland of pine trees and combines oceanside dining with watersports.
Those wanting a longer-term base on the peninsula can look to Aman Residences, Bodrum, a collection of five- to seven-bedroom villas set among protected trees in beachfront, lagoon and waterfront positions, with access to Amanruya's resort amenities. The resort itself is a 30-minute drive from Milas-Bodrum International Airport, which has daily connections to Istanbul and seasonal direct flights from across Europe, the Middle East and the CIS region. Amanruya is currently closed while it undergoes resort enhancements; reopening dates have not yet been announced.
