Overview

Cape Grace, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, occupies a private quay within Cape Town's V&A Waterfront. Rooms and suites are arranged to face the harbour, the marina or Table Mountain, and the hotel's facilities are built around that waterside setting: a heated outdoor pool and Pool Bar on the quay, a spa drawing on Cape botanicals, and a 24-hour gym with Technogym equipment and marina views.

Dining runs from Heirloom Restaurant, which serves a menu shaped by South African heritage, to the Library Lounge, Bascule Bar and a Private Dining Room that seats up to ten guests for smaller gatherings. The Fairmont Spa holds three treatment rooms, including a dedicated couples' suite, alongside a halotherapy salt room, sauna and steam room, open daily from 08h00 to 20h00. Families are catered for with suites such as the Signature Safari Family Room, in-room baby equipment on request, and pre-bookable child-minding.

The hotel also runs seasonal programmes, including a festive season schedule covering Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals, a New Year's Eve dinner spanning Heirloom, the Library Lounge and the Pool Deck, and a separate New Year's gathering at Bascule Bar. Meetings and private events are hosted in venues overlooking the yacht marina.
