The two El Palace Suites are named for Joséphine Baker and Ronnie Wood, the Rolling Stones guitarist who once stayed in the Art Deco rooms that now carry his name. Amar Barcelona, the restaurant led by chef Rafa Zafra, serves alongside the Rooftop Garden, which has its own swimming pool and a view toward the Sagrada Família, the Grand Hall and El Jardín, where breakfast is served. The Mayan Luxury Spa draws on Mayan tradition and French cosmetics from Anne Semonin, and was the first in Europe to offer a temazcal, a pre-Hispanic sauna built with volcanic rock and medicinal herbs.
