Overview

Hayman Island sits at the northernmost point of Australia's Whitsunday archipelago, within the Great Barrier Reef. Reaching it requires a direct flight to Hamilton Island Airport followed by a transfer by boat, helicopter or private charter. The resort holds 182 guest rooms, suites and villas across four wings, Pool, Lagoon, Beach and Pavilion, plus four double-storey Hayman Residences set on the island's hilltop, each accommodating eight guests with their own infinity pool and open-plan living area.

Five restaurants and bars, Pacific, Amici, Aqua, Bam Bam and Grove Boutique & Café, serve Pan-Asian, Italian and seafood menus across the property. Private dining experiences include Under the Stars on the beach, Pacific Beach Dinner, Amici Al Fresco and a Chef's Table in the resort's central kitchen, directed by Executive Chef Paul Lewis. Hayman Spa and Hayman Hair Salon operate seven days a week from 9.45am to 6pm, with the spa partnered with Subtle Energies for treatments rooted in Ayurvedic principles.

For groups and celebrations, the resort offers 15 indoor and outdoor venues, including Arkhurst, Formal Gardens and Hayman Beach, plus the Stella Maris Chapel for ceremonies. On-island, on-water and by-air activities include private boat charters and helicopter tours, along with family-focused programming such as guided nature walks, fish feeding and non-motorised beachfront activities.
