Overview

Nobu Hotel, Residences and Restaurant Maldives is a project developed by Nobu Hospitality in partnership with Sarat International, on the private island of Munyafushi in Laamu Atoll, in the Indian Ocean. The resort is planned to include 26 beach villas and 30 overwater villas, along with a separate group of 10 Nobu Island Estate Residences. Each of the ten residences occupies its own private island and includes private yacht access, set apart from the main villa collection.

A Nobu restaurant, with its own bar and lounge, is planned on a private island within the resort. Other amenities described for the property include a spa, a fitness centre, diving facilities, tennis courts, event spaces and a main pool. The design is described as drawing on Japanese-inspired architecture and natural textures, consistent with other properties in the Nobu collection.

As of this writing, Nobu Hotel Maldives is listed as "coming soon" within Nobu Hotels' own navigation of its Asia properties, indicating the resort has not yet opened. Details beyond the villa and residence counts, the restaurant, and the general amenities list are not yet available from the source material.
