Overview

Patina Maldives occupies a 42-hectare island in North Malé Atoll. The property is organised around villa categories that range from the 60 sqm Fari Studios to the two-storey, 1,800 sqm Beach House, which sleeps up to six adults and three children. Beach Pool Villas and Water Pool Villas are offered in one and two bedroom layouts, each sized between 170 and 600 sqm depending on bedroom count, and each is also available in a sunset-facing version.

The island holds a permanent art collection of eight works, including a Skyspace by James Turrell and pieces by Cássio Vasconcellos, Hongjie Yang, Hiroko Takeda, Jose Dávila, FAHR 021.3, Pamela Longobardi and Sassan Behnam-Bakhtiar. A monthly Patina Art Residency brings a visiting artist to work on site, and the Fari Art Atelier has hosted collaborations such as Maldivian artist Aishath Shuaila's nature-inspired practice and Sean Wotherspoon's Respect the Reef pop-up. Dining is spread across named venues including Brasa and KANDU, with Portico serving breakfast.

Wellness programming runs through the day, from TRX and Mat Pilates sessions to candle gazing meditation and breathwork guided by practitioners such as Avery Whitmore. Families are accommodated through Footprints Kids Club and the Two Bedroom villas, and dolphins and other marine life are reported near the Water Pool Villas.
