Hotel · Yokohama, Japan
A 276-room hotel opening in April 2026 inside Yokohama's former city hall, one minute from JR Kannai Station.
OMO7 Yokohama opens on April 21, 2026 in Kannai, a district at the heart of Yokohama's port, one minute on foot from JR Kannai Station's South Exit. The hotel occupies the former Yokohama City Hall building, pairing the structure's original architecture with contemporary interiors. From the property, guests can reach Chinatown, Yamashita Park, the Red Brick Warehouse and Minato Mirai on foot, with onward access to Kamakura and Tokyo.
The hotel has 276 rooms across two categories. YAGURA rooms, at 24 to 25 square metres, sleep one to three guests and use a raised platform bed finished in a palette drawn from the former city hall's interior colours. KATARIBA rooms, at 41 to 55 square metres, sleep one to four guests and are built around a central nook with sofa seating, suited to two guests wanting space or a group gathering around a table. Children aged six and under may share a bed with an adult at no extra charge, up to the room's maximum occupancy.
Dining runs across four points. OMO Dining serves a breakfast buffet built around Yokohama specialities including dim sum. OMO Bakery offers a breakfast bakery set by day and functions as an all-day bakery and bar, with a curry bread selection referencing Yokohama's place in the history of curry in Japan. An evening à la carte menu covers ramen, curry, Napolitan spaghetti, Doria and Chinese dishes such as lobster mabo pot pie. HAMAKAZE Terrace offers views over the city. The hotel also has a spa and massage service, a pool, an onsen and public bath, a playroom, a meeting room and rooms for guests travelling with a dog, under the hotel's pet room terms of use.
