Overview

The Rome EDITION stands at Salita di San Nicola da Tolentino 14, a few minutes' walk from Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Borghese Gardens. The hotel was conceived and programmed by Ian Schrager, who designed each of its rooms and suites.

There are 74 guest rooms, 17 suites and two penthouse suites. Room categories include the Guest Room, Superior Room, Deluxe Room and Premiere City Skyline, while suites range from the Loft Suite and Garden View Suite to the EDITION Signature Suite, the Skyline Suite and the two named penthouses, The EDITION Penthouse Suite and The Rome Penthouse Suite. Views take in the city's streets and rooftops, or look directly onto the adjacent church of San Nicola da Tolentino. Family options can be arranged on request.

Dining runs across four venues. Anima, the signature restaurant, serves Italian food shaped by Rome and Naples under chef Antonio Gentile, including a Cavalieri Spaghetti with three tomatoes and homemade focaccia, set in a courtyard holding more than 400 plants; it opens daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Roof, on the seventh floor, has a panoramic terrace and a travertine plunge pool, serving lunch, dinner and aperitivo daily from 9am to 1am, though the pool is temporarily closed. Punch Room, open nightly from 10pm to 2am, serves punch cocktails on amaranth-coloured velvet sofas. Jade Bar, with green marble interiors and a tasting ritual built around a Le Labo fragrance, is temporarily closed.
