Overview

The Tokyo EDITION, Ginza stands just off Chuo Street, one of the city's principal shopping and entertainment streets, home to luxury boutiques and Michelin-starred restaurants. The hotel occupies floors three through thirteen of a low-slung building designed jointly by Ian Schrager and Kengo Kuma, whose work threads Japanese craft through EDITION's clean-lined signature style.

Of the 86 guest rooms, 11 are suites, including premier suites and a penthouse. Room categories run from Deluxe, Superior and Premier rooms through to Studio Suites, Premier Suites and the Penthouse. Suite interiors use walnut wood against white and marble furnishings, and some rooms connect via exterior doors to form a two-bedroom suite.

Four venues cover the day. Sophie at EDITION, on the 14th floor, serves Italian food built around a handmade pasta programme, open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Punch Room, themed on 19th-century London private clubs, builds its cocktail list around five flavour categories matched to Japanese ingredients such as sake and ryokucha tea, and is ranked No. 23 on Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026. Lobby Bar pours coffee from a local roastery from morning to night, and The Roof opens seasonally in the evenings for cocktails, wine and small plates. Room service runs 24 hours.
