Overview

The Tokyo EDITION, Toranomon sits in Minato City, close to the Kamiyacho, Roppongi-Itchome and Toranomon subway stations. The hotel was designed by Kengo Kuma, working to a concept by Ian Schrager, and holds 206 guest rooms, including 22 suites. Rooms look out over the Tokyo skyline, taking in Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Bay, and from level 31 upward a number of rooms come with private terraces, described as a first for the hotel.

Food and drink runs across three restaurants and three lounge bars. The Jade Room is a Wagyu steakhouse built on a farm-to-fire approach, paired with the seasonal Garden Terrace 140 metres above the city, which seats 94 indoors across two private dining rooms and 60 more outdoors. The Blue Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner from an internationally minded menu, Gold Bar at EDITION takes its cue from the golden age of cocktails, and the Lobby Bar overlooks Tokyo Bay and Tokyo Tower with its own afternoon tea service.

The spa has six treatment rooms and uses products sourced and made in Japan, open daily from 10am to 10pm. The gym runs 24 hours with 17 pieces of Technogym equipment and is open to guests 16 and over. There is also a private pool styled as a conservatory, open daily from 7am to 10pm, and 387 square metres of event space divided across four meeting studios.
